Items, stacks and storage
How to use the Minecraft stack calculator
Select a Minecraft item and enter the number you need. The calculator divides that total by the item's maximum stack size, then shows full stacks, loose items, occupied slots, shulker boxes, single chests and double chests.
Use Stacks to items when you already counted stacks in-game. Use Material list for a large survival build, farm output buffer or storage room containing several item types.
The core calculation works from legacy Java versions such as 1.8, 1.12 and 1.16 through 1.20, 1.21 and 26.x. The selector uses the Java 26.2 registry so newer items such as the Sulfur Cube Bucket and Music Disc Bounce are not missing, while established older items remain searchable. For a legacy server or modpack with a different limit, enter its stack size in the Custom field.
